Weve been a few times very friendly nothings to much trouble! The food was delicious as usual. The prices are very reasonable you get a top quality meal at a very good price! Also they are dog friendly and that is also a big plus! Very pleased and would highly recommend. See Jess the dog recommends too just look at that smile
A really nice old Devon Inn in the centre of Totnes with traditional pub meals cooked very nicely and a carvery everyday. Generous portions at a low price. A good selection of beers and spirits. Helpful staff and fast service. 3rd visit all good so far.
A warm welcome from staff. Nice open log fires, a great carvery on offer along with plenty of choices in the menu card. A good selection of beers, lagers, wines with tea and coffee avail,and of course soft drinks. Requested something that was not completely on menu but they supplied the food as asked, basically a breakfast with extra items but also with some items removed, not a problem the manager said. That warrants a mention, shall return. Food fresh, hot and tasty, there is a minstral gallery area, plenty of seating below in a homely lounge along with a bar area with more seating. Centrally located back from main road with outside seating, local shops either side. We'll worth a visit.
I have eaten a lot of roast dinners in my life whilst out and about on my travels in the UK and I can honestly say this is and continues to be the best roast dinner I have had anywhere. I always have roast beef and it melts in the mouth. Veggies are always plentiful with good choices and piping hot. The staff are always very friendly. Anyone visiting Totnes should definitely visit this place and see for themselves how good the food is.
