Family Sunday lunch. Very pleasant environment, attentive team and excellent food.
Nice meal. Disability access could be better. Would be nice if toilets in rgw same floor as we had the meal.
Lots of history between those walls!!! Great place to hang out in front og an open fire. Great fish'n chips!
Booked a table for 4 on 27th December, unfortunately we had friends travelling by train and we thought we had the possibility of a late arrival covered but lo and behold the train was delayed longer making their arrival 10 minutes late.The food and drink was nice enough but we weren't asked if we wanted a sweet and on getting up from the table another group descended on the table. Also it seems another couple who had not booked (?) our table were moved to let us sit down, I didn't know this at the time. I'm not keen to return.
Almost made the 5 . Great venue. Just need to up their game slightly on the food. Uncooked Brussel sprouts are not good.Beware of the senior staff eating on duty.
