For the last 6 months we have (exhaustively) researched and viewed a LOT of campervans - both private sales and dealers. The wrong choice could ensure an irretrievable financial loss plus a lot of stress. A few weeks ago I saw somebody in our neighbourhood about to get into their Mazda Bongo. She very kindly allowed me to look inside it and explained shed purchased it from Riviera Motors who she highly recommended.Cue me dragging my husband along to Riviera Motors just to have a look. That, is where our search ended.We had the good fortune to meet Alex of Riviera Motors who was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and, importantly, was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles he sells.Over the ensuing few days, leading up to collecting our Bongo, I have bombarded Alex with endless questions and what if scenarios - all of which he answered with unwavering patience.I never write reviews but Im SO impressed with our Bongo and the service weve received at Riviera Motors. I highly recommend anybody thinking of buying a campervan or motor home to visit them - I wish we had 6 months ago.
Spent a long time looking at the vast range of Mazda Bongos here last weekend. This will be my first time purchasing a camper van so I was a little nervous but the two salesmen I saw were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble to explain or go through. I had already been to a couple of other local dealers but they didnt have the range or friendly knowledge that Riviera did. Feeling confident about my first trip away now! Cant wait- thank you Riviera!
Shocked to be verbally abused by the Riviera Motors sales person! My family and I made quite a detour on a journey in order to view their Mazda Bongo conversions at first hand rather than online. Initially the salesman was reasonably helpful albeit a bit sarcastic to my wife and I when we asked perfectly normal and reasonable questions. However, he completed turned on me when I asked to see a seat/bed conversion in bed mode (again, a reasonable question) and refused to do this as he was too busy and that he would show me when I was "ready to buy"! I explained that I couldn't move any further forward in my thought process (to buy) without seeing how the bed conversion works at which point he accused me of being "some kind of idiot" and stormed off back to the office. I have never met such a rude and arrogant salesman. Riveria Motors should be ashamed of themselves and the way that he abused a potential customer. I am only thankful that my young daughter was out of earshot at the on-set of his verbal torrent of abuse. At least now I know that I will not by buying from Riveria Motors.
Very warm friendly sales team which are family members. Great stock and we were able to part exchange our motorhome for another vehicle. Picking up new vehicle next week cant wait.
Good guys. Called in for air con recharge and did without appointment. Nice cold air con now. Didn't realise repair and mot motorcycles but will now for the future.
