The most interesting and challenging course in the area by some margin and in excellent condition considering the recent run of bad weather.In the clubhouse after it took 15 minutes to order a coffee and we had to sit at a table filled with dirty cups and plates which the staff ignored despite making multiple trips to deliver drinks. We ended up clearing it ourselves when there was no more room for the food and drinks we had ordered.
We held our first annual distributor meeting at The Dartmouth. The conference room was very clean, well presented and included all the things we needed for a perfectly pleasant meeting.The girls in reservations were very helpful with booking rooms for our distributors, especially Roxy who was impeccable with my changes on a daily basis!The food and drink in the restaurant was to a high standard and was enjoyed by everyone. No problems there at all.Personally my room was a little cold, but as soon as I turned my radiator on it warmed up pretty quick and was very comfortable. The only thing I couldn't figure out was the shower which I wouldn't change from scolding hot, but this was a very minor blip in what was such a pleasant stay.Thank you to everyone for making us feel comfortable.
Warmly welcomed at reception.Our stay at New year was exceptional. The function room was beautifully laid out. Food was very good and service was quick and efficient. A live band played excellent music. Fireworks at midnight was a super way to end the new year celebrations! Our room was comfortable with a 6ft wide bed and soft topper. A nice bay window overlooked the golf course. Bathroom had bath with shower over. All very clean. Towels soft and very white.The down side was the noise from the adjacement room, number 208, on 30th December! The guests in there kept us wake until 1245. Slamming doors and drawers and using very loud voices! The wall seemed paper thin. The doors in the corridors are very heavy and slam with great force so very noisy. Need soft closures on them.
Wonderful 2 night New Year stay. Excellent value. Delicious food with friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Great to unwind in the spa facilities and enjoy a fab night of entertainment. Will definitely look to come back. Thank you
It's difficult to blame the staff when they are clearly understaffed. They were friendly enough, but you can tell there is a lack of motivation. I have had better service in Nigeria. It's not even as if they were busy. Heaven knows what happens when they get busy?The one meal I ate there was dismal. My wife asked them to replace her fat-fried toast, and even the tomatoes were fried in the same old oil.I got a refund on the two Guinness Draughts I ordered because the keg was off.It's a pity, because the venue is great.
