It's a great site, close to everything and unique in that despite it being in a town, there is no electric hook up. This is because the club do not own the site and have a short term lease from the council. This has prevented investment in the facilities, so they are basic, but adequate. Be sure to tell the local businesses that you are staying on this site to underline the amount that the local economy benefits from it being there. Handy for river trips to Dartmouth, the round robin trip and of course local buses to Plymouth/Newton Abbott et al.

Great place to stay, no electricity which is either a novelty or you deal with it by using gas and solar electricity. The site is very close to both the town centre and Steamer Quay itself where boats operate daily to Dartmouth and back. This site is a jewel in the Caravan Club network and would be sadly missed if it were to close.Highly recommended.
Great place to stay handy for River cruises,to Dartmouth steam trains, Totnes Town just up the road buses to Plymouth ,Paignton ,Brixham .Very clean site, nice managers helpful and caring. A must to stay .
The location was nice, good to be in a town. Facilities need a bit of an overhaul as not enough loos and showers over flowed, but are still ok. Would be nice to have electricity because we're are in the middle of a town. We are told this but it would be nice.
